|Steven E. Bangs has been practicing as a litigator and tax controversy attorney for over 20 years. Steve
graduated cum laude from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School & has a bachelor's degree in economics from
the University of Colorado, Boulder. Licensed to practice in Michigan, Pennsylvania & the United States Tax
Court, he has successfully handled hundreds of tax controversies for individuals and businesses
throughout his career including collection challenges, penalty challenges, settlements, responsible officer
accusations, criminal tax evasion accusations, innocent spouse, audit, appeals, collection hearings, and
litigation in the United States Tax Court. Mr. Bangs also litigates individual, business, and probate/trust
